1. Wastewater (WWTP): H2S & "Concrete Rot" Mitigation

In municipal wastewater treatment, the headspace of sludge tanks is a highly corrosive micro-climate.

● The Biogenic Threat: Anaerobic activity produces Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas. When this condenses on traditional covers, sulfur-oxidizing bacteria convert it into sulfuric acid (H2SO4), leading to rapid "concrete rot" and steel degradation.

● The Aluminum Solution: Our 6061-T6 alloy naturally forms a dense, self-healing oxide layer that is chemically inert to H2S and sulfuric acid. This provides a total, non-reactive seal that protects the tank's structural perimeter and ensures odor control compliance.

2. Crude Oil (Petroleum): Vapor Loss & VOC Control

For refineries and terminals, the aluminum dome acts as a critical tool for Emission Control.

● Secondary Seal Function: The dome blocks wind flow over the Internal Floating Roof (IFR), the primary driver of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) "wicking" or vapor loss.
